Mint
Rosemary

Rosemary prefers full sun and sharply drained soil or potting mix, with modest fertility and a pH around 6.0-7.5. Feed container plants lightly during active growth and protect them from winter temperatures below their cultivar's tolerance.

Tips
- Plant rooted nursery plants at their original depth in a bed or pot with excellent drainage.
- Water thoroughly when the upper inch or two of potting mix dries, and empty standing water from saucers.
- Give container plants a dilute balanced fertilizer during active growth, not during a cool winter rest.
- Pinch green tips rather than bare wood and check indoor plants for spider mites and powdery mildew.
- Harvest lightly in the establishment year and move tender containers to bright, cool indoor shelter before freezing weather.
Set rooted cuttings or nursery plants outdoors in spring after freezing weather has passed.
